Hollingworth lake is a 130 acre reservoir near smithy bridge.It was originally built as the main water source throughout Rochdale. It developed as a place of interest in the 1860's,it became known as the weighver's seaport.
Touchstones(our museum)was originally a library! It is a place where children can learn about history.Did you know that our cooperative used to only open up at night because it was not a real shop and the pioneers who ran the shop,would be arrested.
