Mental health is your emotional wellbeing, which affects how you think, feel and behave.  Having good mental health means you are able to make the most of your life, reach your potential and cope with the ups and downs of life.

To help with our wellbeing, we can use the 5 Ways to Wellbeing, you can watch a video about this here.

                                                                                                https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yF7Ou43Vj6c

At Shawclough, we have 6 Wellbeing Ambassadors which are pupils in Phase 3.  They are here to promote wellbeing and help others.

Here are their top tips for wellbeing:

“If you’re feeling down, look on the bright side.”

“Find a friend to help.”

“Don’t compare yourself to others, think about all of the things that are great about you!”

“Be happy, think positive.”

“If you need someone to talk to, just come and find us.”

“Remember to chill out.”
