The school day starts at 8:45am and finishes at 3:15pm. Meaning that children are in school for 32.5 hours a week.
We offer a free breakfast club, from 7:30am, for all pupils in Reception to Year 6. We also offer Tea Time Club from 3:30 to 5:45pm. Please contact us if you would like to know more details or book a place for your child.
Parents are responsible for the supervision of their children until the doors open at 8:45am. Please also be aware that any child remaining in school after 3:30pm, without prior notification, will be placed in Tea Time Club at the parent / carer expense.
To improve the safety of all our children we have made some changes to the way in which parents and children come into school. For the safety of all our children the following rules must be followed by all parents and children:
Nursery
- All parents must walk all the way around the building to the Nursery outside door which will be opened by our staff.
Reception
- Blue Class – all parents and children must use the outside door into Blue Class.
- Turquoise Class – all parents and children must use the outside door at the side of Turquoise Class.
Year 1
- Purple Class – all parents and children must use the outside door at the back of school near the Nursery entrance.
- Lavender Class – all parents and children must use the outside entrance at the side of Lavender Class.
Year 2
- Coral & Sunshine Classes - all parents and children must use the outside door at Sunshine Class.
Year 3
- Amber & Lemon Classes - all parents and children must use the outside entrance off the playground.
Year 4
- Orange & Yellow Classes - all parents and children must use the outside entrance at the side of Orange Class.
Years 5 & 6
- Poppy, Cherry, Red & Scarlet Classes - all parents and children must use the outside entrance labelled Phase 3 Entrance near the main gate.
Rainbow & Rainforest
- Any pupils who do not use the transport provided must use the outside entrance for both Rainbow and Rainforest provision areas.
