SUMMER SPORTS DAY EVENT – 30 JUNE 2017

The countdown to Summer Sports Day Event begins.  If anyone is interested in helping on a stall please contact Ayaiz Ahmed, Parent Governor or come along to the next meeting on the 23rd May at 3.30pm in the School Library.  If you have any unwanted gifts you would like to donate as raffle prizes please leave these at the School Office.

 

SEPTEMBER 2017 NURSERY APPLICATION FORMS

The forms are now available from the school office to apply for a place in our school nursery for September 2017.  We still have some places in our current nursery please come to the school office for information. We can take 2 year olds (funded) on morning or afternoon sessions and also rising 3’s.  Our provision is an outstanding example of what nursery education should be like – please ring for a visit.

 

PTA MEETING DATES

NON-UNIFORM DAY – 26 MAY 2017

Wear Sports clothes (football shirts CAN be worn on this day) £1.00 donation towards Shawclough PTA.

 

NON-UNFORM DAY – 23 JUNE 2017

Wear what you want (NO football shirts) and donate chocolate for the tombola at the Summer Sports Day.

 

UNIT 3 HAPPILY EVER AFTER PERFORMANCE  19 MAY

The children will be watching a performance of ‘Happily Ever After’ performed by the Action Transport Theatre. 

 

WRITING COMPETION

School Council have organised a writing competition.  Children need to write about ‘My Perfect Day’.  They can be as imaginative as they like.  Please return by Friday, 26th May.  There will be a prize for one winner in each year group.  Thank you.

 

UNIT 4 BAKE SALE – 25 MAY 2017

The Bake Sale will be in the School Dining Hall - Doors open at 3.00 p.m. until 3.45 p.m.  All funds go towards the Year 6 sleepover

 

HOLIDAY

Can I remind you that school closes on Friday, 26th May at 3.15 p.m. for the Whitsun holiday week and re-opens on Monday, 5th June 2017.
