We are offering all the children in Year 5 the opportunity to take part in an adventure holiday at Robinwood in Todmorden.  We are returning to Robinwood for the nineteenth visit because of the outstanding quality of the activities offered to the children and the excellent organisation.  This is what some of our children said about previous years visits:

 

“It’s better than going to Spain”

“The excitement never ends at Robinwood”

“Good food, I loved the pizza”

“Better that the best day you have ever had”

 

Alongside this letter you will find a leaflet from Robinwood outlining some of the activities which are on offer.  The holiday will begin on Friday, 9^th June and end on Sunday, 11^th June 2017.  The cost of the visit is £130.00.  School is paying the cost of transport to and from Robinwood, purchasing the trip insurance and making a significant contribution to the cost of specialist instruction. 

 

On Monday, 19^th September at 6.00 p.m. there will be a meeting, in school, for parents and children to discuss the Robinwood trip.  If you decide you would like your child to go on the holiday a non-refundable deposit of £30.00 will be needed in school before the week ending Friday, 30^th September 2016.

 

If you wish to attend the meeting please return the first slip over the page, so that I can make the necessary arrangements.  If you wish to send in the deposit please put the money in a sealed envelope with the second slip.  In the meantime if you need any further information don’t hesitate to contact me in school.
