Key Stage 2 2017 (Unvalidated Results)

Combined Reading, Writing and Maths: 74%, exceeding the National by 13% and an 18% increase on 2016.

 

Reading: 79%, exceeding the National by 7.5% and a 16% increase on 2016.

 

Writing: 87.7%, exceeding the National by 14.4% and a 15.7% increase on 2016.

 

Maths: 87.7%, exceeding the National by 13% and a 6.7% increase on 2016.

 

EGPS: 96.5%, exceeding the National by 19% and an 11.5% increase on 2016.

 

For Greater Depth at Key Stage 2:

 

Combined Reading, Writing and Maths: 5%, a 5% increase on 2016.

 

Reading: 19%, an increase of 13%.

 

Writing: 12%, an increase of 10%.

 

Maths: 28%, an increase of 9%.

 

EGPS: 42.1%, an increase of 22.1%.

Writing 1.4, an increase of 2.2

Maths 2.6, an increase of 1.3.

 

Pupil Premium Children (Disadvantaged).

Combined Reading, Writing and Maths: 63%, exceeding the National disadvantaged by 16.4% and a 16% increase on 2016.

 

Reading: 63%, exceeding the National disadvantaged by 3.9% and equal to 2016.

 

Writing: 80%, exceeding the National disadvantaged by 14.8% and a 12% increase on 2016.

 

Maths: 80%, exceeding the National disadvantaged by 17.4% and a 6% increase on 2016.

 

EGPS: 93.3%, exceeding the National disadvantaged by 27% and a 1.7% increase on 2016.

 

Overall this shows some outstanding outcomes for children, with our focus for school improvement this year being Reading comprehension, to ensure all children meet the high expectations we are reaching in all subjects. We are also working on Greater Depth, particularly in Reading, to give our children every opportunity to meet our aspirational targets.

 

Key Stage 1 2017

Combined Reading, Writing and Maths: 57.6%, a 19.3% increase on 2016.

 

Reading: 76.3%, a 9.6% increase on 2016.

 

Writing: 62.7%, a 22.7% increase on 2016.

 

Maths: 71.2%, a 7.9% increase on 2016.

 

 

For Greater Depth:

 

Reading: 37.3%, a 24.3% increase on 2016.

 

Writing: 0%, equal to 2016.

 

Maths: 22%, a 14% increase on 2016.

 

Reception 2017

 

62.7% of children left Reception on a ‘Good level of development’.

 

On entry to Reception:

· Reading: 4% of children at expected stage.

· Writing: 27% of children at expected stage.

· Maths: 27% of children at expected stage.

 

On exit:

· Reading: 71.2% at expected, 16.9% exceeding.

· Writing: 69.5% at expected, 10.2% exceeding.

· Maths: 72.9% at expected, 13.6% exceeding.

 

Phonics 2017

82% of children achieved in the Phonics test.
